La Tania is a small, friendly alpine village surrounded by forest and traditional chalet-style buildings. The pedestrianised centre is easy to get around and has a relaxed, welcoming feel that suits both families and groups.
Children can enjoy the village play park and sledging areas, while adults make the most of the cafés, bars and mountain views. Everything is within easy walking distance, giving the village a simple, unhurried rhythm throughout the day.
You’ll also find a good mix of restaurants, bars, ski shops, a supermarket, delicatessen and tourist office all close to the Ski Dazzle chalets.
La Tania is part of the Courchevel valley, with direct lift access into both Courchevel and Méribel, making it a brilliant base for exploring the Three Valleys.
The main La Tania gondola takes skiers and pedestrians up to the top station, where the Bouc Blanc area and chairlift connect you into the wider ski network via Courchevel and the Col de la Loze link towards Méribel.

From here, the Dou des Lanches and Bouc Blanc chairlifts open up access to hundreds of kilometres of linked pistes across the Three Valleys.
Beginners can start on the village nursery slope before progressing to the green run back into resort. Confident skiers can enjoy the flowing Folyères blue or Moretta Blanche red runs, while advanced skiers have over 600km of pistes to explore across Courchevel, Méribel and Val Thorens.

You’ll find a supermarket, ski hire shops, ski schools, a tourist office, and a range of restaurants from simple pizzerias to higher-end dining. Our recommended ski hire partner, Ski Higher, is based in the village and offers convenient equipment rental and service.

La Tania is small enough to explore on foot, and if you want to get further afield to Le Praz, Courchevel 1850, Courchevel Moriond or Courchevel Village, then it’s easy to take the free buses. Running from early morning until midnight, you can use them with skis (should you decide to finish your day in a different part of the valley) or venture out after your chalet dinner to visit any number of bars to watch sports, sip Champagne or dance to one of our brilliant local bands.
In La Tania, there are several bars in which to raise a glass to your day’s skiing before heading back to the chalet. If you enjoy dancing in ski boots then the infamous Ski Lodge is the place to head to!
In the evenings, La Taiga often has live music and is a nice place to sip a civilised drink on quieter nights. The Ski Lodge is open late and has many themed nights throughout the season.
