Alternative Travel Options
For those who prefer not to fly, or who simply want more flexibility, there are several excellent alternative ways to reach La Tania by train, car or coach.
The nearest railway station to La Tania is Moûtiers Salins Brides-les-Bains, just a 30 minute drive from the resort. High-speed trains, including TGV services from Paris and connections from Eurostar routes in winter, make rail travel a comfortable and scenic option.
From Moûtiers, you can pre-book a transfer directly to La Tania. There are also cafés and restaurants near the station if you have time to relax before your transfer.
Driving offers complete flexibility and is a great option for families or groups who want to bring extra luggage or ski equipment.
La Tania is approximately 600 miles from the Channel ports, with motorway driving for most of the journey and the final 12 miles into the mountains. Toll costs are approximately €70 each way.
Please note that winter driving regulations apply in the French Alps, and you must carry appropriate winter equipment such as snow chains or approved alternatives.
Travelling by coach is one of the most cost-effective ways to reach La Tania. A direct service departs London Victoria Coach Station on Friday afternoon and arrives in resort on Saturday morning, with drop-off in La Tania.

Whether you're arriving early or departing late, here's everything you need to know about changeover day.
Chalet access is from 4.00pm on changeover day.
On changeover days, the chalet is thoroughly cleaned and fully turned around to ensure it is perfectly prepared for your stay.
If you arrive earlier, we’re very happy to store your luggage so you can head straight out and enjoy the resort. Just let us know in advance.
Please note that we’re unable to offer bathroom facilities during the day, but there are public shower facilities available in the resort.
Departure time is 9.30am on changeover day.
If you are planning to ski on your departure day, we’re happy to store your luggage and you are welcome to use the boot room to change in and out of your ski gear.
Please note that we are unable to offer bathroom facilities after 9.30am, but we can recommend nearby shower facilities in the resort.
